This piece started life as a large chip and dip design, one of the originals this drop grew out of. The glaze reacts to high-acid contact, lemon juice, vinegar, that kind of thing, shifting color where it touches. Barkeeper's Friend brings it back, but does not make it guaranteed food safe and its not something to rely on for a piece meant to hold food, so it's sold as a second: decorative only.
As a centerpiece, a catchall for keys or dry goods, or simply an object to look at, it holds all the presence of the original design. Approx. 16" deep x 14" wide x 6” tall. No two are ever exactly the same. Not dishwasher, microwave, or dinnerware.
